It should be instructive of Lucas’ worldview that Japanese director Akira Kurosawa was one of his biggest influences. So, I’ll admit that insofar that “Star Wars” espouses eastern religious themes it is indeed “anti Christian”. But, not perhaps as many others use that particular phrase.

At the risk of sounding Sith-like ("Anakin! Only a Sith deals in such absolutes!") the fact is that Jesus said "No one cometh unto the Father except by Me" which precludes any other set of religious beliefs achieving what Christ alone achieved, which was and is to provide a sole and singular path of Salvation, Buddha didn't do it, Mohammed for damn sure didn't do it, and no other religious figure did it. It was Jesus Christ and only Him who died for our sins and by which we are saved through Faith.

Jesus also said "He who denieth me before men, I will deny before the Father", and I contend that is exactly what Lucas has done with his immensely wealthy franchise and for any lost souls who embraced the philosophies in 'Star Wars' and as a result, choose to reject the teachings of Christ, those souls are on Lucas' head.

I wouldn't want to be him for ANY amount of money.
