DeVage's Subs and Donuts on East Main Street in Salisbury is putting its customers on notice with a new sign. The sign reads "This Store Is Politically Incorrect."
The sign further reads, "We say Merry Christmas, God Bless America, we salute our flag and give thanks to our troops, police officers and fire fighters. If this offends you, you are welcome to leave. In God We Trust."[snip]

The Dollar Store in a nearby town (Damariscotta) forbids its employees from saying Merry Christmas. When a friend was told that by the check out clerk he stood at the end of the check out area for a while and wished a Merry Christmas to the customers.
Wow, scandalous stuff there.

As an aside, am I expecting too much when communication professionals like this TV Station, WBOC-16, cannot do proper grammar checks? Couple of typos and using "they're" when the correct use is "their"! Sigh!

I retired from Perdue Farms last year (Company is based in Salisbury). Everyone I met there was a “Real American” and proud of it!
We need millions more like those in Salisbury.
We have a small retail shipping business in Warren County, N. J. We wish all of our customers a merry Christmas. 99% of them say thank you and wish us a merry Christmas in return. The ones that started to wish us happy holidays or some other nonsense usually correct themselves and say merry Christmas and thank you. Most are finally fed up with this PC crap.
