BEIJING (Reuters) - A North Korean all-female pop group canceled their Beijing concert last week when Chinese authorities objected to "anti-American" lyrics in the show, a source with ties to North Korea and China told Reuters on Friday.
Chinese censors did not approve of a line which referred to the United States an "ambitious wolf", and lyrics which glorified the 1950-53 Korean War, according to the source.
"China did not ask that the lyrics be changed but it did not pass screening by censors," said the source, who declined to be identified due to the sensitivity of the subject.

What this tells me is that Kim complained to the Chinese that they dissed him by objecting to songs that glorified him. So to keep him happy, they changed the reason to something that might offend the US.
What’s the big deal? We have a president that hates the US, along with an entire political party. DPRK teenagers on the hate US thing is pretty small beer.
Which is why I don’t believe it. This is to appease the juche-fruit.

I think this probably is not the real reason, but he fact that China would proffer it is awesome! The fact that Obama has essentially said the same thing as this band on many occasions sucks.

Let it be known that I would have been deeply hurt and offended at having been referred to as an “ambitious wolf” at concert only 6500 miles away from my home. I am grateful to my dear friends in the Chinese censorship office for having intervened to spare my feelings.
