“Rush was talking yesterday about the fact that a couple of GOP establishment types are thinking Cruz is their only hope to stop Trump. That should terrify everyone in the Cruz campaign, because it means they are pretty sure they can take Ted out.”

And Cruz supporters should be mad that the GOPe would rather have him. It means they think Ted can be bought by the donors or party bosses. I’m not sure he can’t, so I switched. He is weak on illegal immigration, even after seeing how the people reward a strong conservative approach.

Whether he is weak on immigration or not, he is too weak overall for what we need right now.

He was suckered by McConnell, of all people, even when his staff tried to warn him he was being lied too.

We can’t take a chance on someone that green right now.

No, I think it’s because in the end, they don’t want either one, but know Cruz will at least make a decent president.

Not only can Cruz not be bought, he has solid conservative values and experience in government. Trump doesn’t, nor is there any reason to believe he will magically acquire them before January 2017.

I hate the GOP leadership too, but I love America more. Which is why I can’t support Donald. I have no desire to watch my country burn to the ground.
