I’m more concerned with the conservative base and the evangelicals, which we need if we’re going to win, than chasing unicorns.
Well, given the conservative base's proven track record of lagging support for anyone who isn't an ideal/near ideal conservative, I'm quite fine with Trump and his ability to appeal to blacks, Hispanics, and independents.
I also believe Trump's wide appeal makes it likely Hillary will have to defend/attack many more states than she would against any other GOP candidate, including Cruz.
