Displays like this were literally everywhere in my youth.
It was just a regular part of the Christmas season experience.
Pitiful that it is now considered "edgy" by contemporary society. Sheesh.

When I was 19 I worked at a dry cleaners owned by a lovely Jewish couple (this was a couple hundred or so years ago!). I painted a nativity on the window with Merry Christmas beneath. I’m glad to see this.
