"Some might just find it difficult to believe Trump changed his mind on so many things so fast. Especially when political expediency is a possibility. Now, don't get me wrong, I am enjoying what Trump has brought to the political scene. That said, why should I trust Trump to do what he says he is going to do? I wish I had an answer to this question."
The answer is simple - you can't. He's been caught lying too many times.
I've had Trump supporters write these lies off as exaggerations or hyperbole. But the real problem is that the man repeats things he knows aren't true, simply because we want to hear them. That's not leadership. That's not conservatism.
I understand where his support comes from. With every betrayal from the GOP leadership, it's tempting to yield to fantasies about burning it all down. But I'm not willing to burn down my country just to spite the GOPe - I love America more than I despise them.
