It’s hard to find fault with Ted Cruz. Rubio is a kid in comparison. He and Bush came across as petulant kids in parts of the debate. I can see why more candidates don’t drop out. Who are they going to endorse? Most of them are RINOs and the conservatives are leading the pack. They will look like fools if they endorse someone with numbers in the single digits. I think most of them will go away mad and not endorse anyone. Trump doesn’t need their support or their money. He has flaws but he is the perfect candidate. That being said I hope people eventually see Cruz is the better choice.

Rush has to back the only real, consistent conservative with the battle scars to prove it. It’s an easy call. Same as he and Mark Levin backed Cruz when Donald “reach across the isle” McCain attacked Ted Cruz from the left using GOPe talking points.

Cruz was on the news tonight. Lord he did not answer the amnesty question well at all. He started smirking and really was stumped. Poor guy new he needed to give some BS answer but was taken aback by the getting caught in the cookie jar. It was amazing. The only time I saw him screw up.

What every conservative remembers about Marco Rubio is he won his fight for the US Senate only because of massive support from the Tea Party and that one of the very first time things he did in congress was to form an alliances with the Tea party's bitterest enemies, Charles Schumer, Duck Durbin, Barack Obama and write and bring to the vote the biggest amnesty program this country has ever seen. He stabbed those who fought to put him in congress in the back. That is what conservatives remember him. This is why after Rubio and his SPACs have run a massive campaign attack ads against Ted Cruz in Iowa repeating his lies for over 4 weeks, Cruz's poll numbers quadrupled in the DMR poll. Caucus voters are not stupid. They remember the gang of eight very well.

The mockery is intended for a faction of posters who continue to lie and smear Ted Cruz even after they are proved wrong multiple times. They have no interest in the truth, only to grab on to a talking point that has been disproved.

The fact that Sessions, Lee e.t.c came out to back Cruz's point, does not matter to them.

If there is any thread saying anything positive about Cruz, they will get on the thread so fast to cr@p all over the thread, derail the thread from the subject being discussed.

If any popular conservatives say positive things about Ted Cruz or especially back him, that is just intolerable to them.

They will post a multitude of vanities to talk down Ted Cruz, to re-hash discredited talking points e.t.c.

If there is any good news posted about Ted's campaign, this group of people sound like they are about to collapse and pass out from anger/anxiety.

I don’t think anyone objects to Trump supporters.

He has moved the conversation where it needs to go; says all the right things; and I would happily vote for Trump.

It’s the sudden 24/7 bashing of Cruz that is absurd — and it’s not you or the other known, respected, Freepers. There is a contingent of stale accounts that have suddenly become very, very active bashing Cruz.

I have not spewed out anything based on what Rubio has said. I have been paying attention. That is why Cruz's words mean nothing to me ether. Cruz talks a good game, but when push comes to shove, and he has to decide between representing his constituents over the GOPe, Cruz will side with the GOPe just as he has done in the past with TPA and the corker bill.
