I know this goes against the conventional wisdom here(not the first time for me), but I think they LOVE having Trump run for POTUS.
Why would the MSM be scared of him running??
They don't think he has a chance of him being elected POTUS.
He gets them ratings. Only FNC stood up to him and told him no phone in interviews. The rest of the MSM want him so bad, on their shows not as POTUS of course,that they will put up with anything.
I have to disagree here. They (MSM) does not want him running precisely because they know deep down he can win. If they thought he would lose, they would be championing his candidacy. That’s why they always can be counted on to pimp for loser RINOs in the primary.
That makes no sense. So they all want to be on record as being wrong??? As Rush was in 2008 and 2012??
They think he will lose (and they want him to lose) and they want him on their shows as he makes them $$$.
They see it as a win-win.
That is why they will put up with anything to interview him.

OK, one: The media is the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party. The purpose they serve is to make sure the weakest, most unelectable and unmotivating candidate is nominated by the Republicans. This is why they wanted McQueeg in 2000, 2008 and Willard in 2012. These were surefire losers, reviled by the Conservative base, and insufferable media ass-kissers. The Democrats could not have possibly chosen better opponents.
When the media goes apeshit over a Republican, demanding he/she not be in the race (Palin/Cruz/Trump), those are the ones they fear (as Democrat propagandists), because they know they’re precisely the candidates who can motivate the base, inspire non-traditional Republican voters to support the GOP, and be counted on to pursue a Conservative agenda in office. Essentially putting the kibosh on everything they love.
Always watch whom the media fears and loathes the most on the GOP side, because those are always the ones that are the best and most pro-American Conservatives.

I remember the partial-birth abortion brew-ha-ha vis a vis Rudy in 2000. I presume Rudy would have won any GOP primary and the Conservative Party may have nominated someone else, which may have F.ed his chances.
Still, I feel he committed to it and teased us and then used his health as an excuse to bail when he changed his mind and guaranteed the c-word would win. Keeping that B out of the Senate was more important than who was Mayor IMO.
I don’t think Cruz will give Rudy a job but maybe Trump can run for Governor if Rudy still won’t. Rudy as Mayor again may make more sense.
