On Howard Stern's radio show, actor protests that 'All these f***ing nice Israeli people are getting a 'f*** you' from Roger Waters
Adam Sandler criticized Pink Floyd front man Roger Waters and the movement to boycott Israel in an appearance on the Howard Stern Show.
"I'm disgusted they single out Israel," Sandler said Tuesday on Stern's Sirius satellite radio show. "That [they say], 'We can't play Israel.' All these f***ing nice Israeli people are getting a 'f*** you' from Roger Waters.
"I'm very pro-Israel and when someone says sh** about Israel, I know people say sh** about Israel and they f***ing won't play there ⦠and when you go off on Roger Waters I love that you do that," Sandler said.
In October, Stern ripped Waters, a major proponent of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, or BDS, in a seven-minute rant. The rant was motivated by an open letter Waters published in Salon criticizing rocker Jon Bon Jovi for performing in Tel Aviv on Oct. 3. This February 13, 2015 file photo shows British musician Roger Waters of Pink Floyd as he talks to members of the media outside the US embassy in central London.
"What is with Roger Waters and the Jews?" Stern asked. "The Palestinians are these Arabs that could live in Egypt, they could live in Saudi Arabia, but guess what? Those countries don't want them either. Israel has a little tiny country, and it bugs the s*** out of Roger Waters. He can't f***in' deal with it."
"Where do you want the Jews to go, Roger? You want them just to go back to the concentration camps? What is it you want, f***head?" Stern said, adding: "Jews, go to the dark side of moon and live," referring to a popular Pink Floyd album.
Sandler told Stern that he is "proud of being a Jew and that's what I am."
Stern pointed out that Sandler's wife converted to Judaism. Sandler responded that he is not "crazy religious." He told Stern that his chai necklace "is in like the third drawer under the T-shirts."
Drugs made him mentally ill, but physically, drugs seem to have been embalmed some people — Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Willie Nelson.
There is a kind of spiritual blindness going on as I have met many people who buy into this blame the Jews for everything. Especially amongst the conspiracy crowd and even among many Christians. It has a lot to do with holding tightly onto replacement theology. I’m noticing it becoming more prevalent also. I think many will hold onto this delusion to the point of even Christians joining the side of the world and anti-christ rather than realize that the Jews are not the problem in the world; let alone that God is not finished with them and the nation of Israel.
Anti-Semitism has always been fashionable in the Western world.
It was a bit ‘taboo’ after World War II and the excesses of the Nzis, but only a bit.
On the whole, Westerners would rather suck moslem d**k, then bend over and spread for penetration without Vaseline than sit down to dinner with a Jewish man or woman.
Just at this moment some friends and I are making fun of what a crap album The Final Cut was. The best song on the album was “Not Now John”.
I’m happy that Adam Sandler spoke up about what a douche Roger Waters is.
Roger Waters has always been a self-important, self-righteous, whinging little pr*ck.
It is unusual that so many prominent people in history are Jewish - both for good and bad. They have been a blessing just like God said they would be. It can appear that many highly destructive people were Jewish at least ethnically in the 19th and 20th centuries whose ideas and influences seem destructive. Many Jewish people have come to be involved in media and government and in the past have been the progenitors for a lot of communistic and atheistic beliefs that have brought untold misery to many. Maybe the Devil likes to put the Jewish people in a bad light. Difficult to explain. Certainly other people like the Scottish had a profound influence on the modern world much greater than their smaller numbers. But the inability to realize that there are just as many of not far more non Jewish people who are responsible for great evil in the world and to give them a pass at the expense of scapegoating the Jewish people is beyond me.
Gilmour was always the best thing about Floyd. Wright was great also. Waters lost it in the 80’s. I liked a lot of the Final Cut. Not Now John was the best song but I found some of Water’s stuff meaningful to me at the time. My favorite period is by far pre-DSOTM stuff - ‘68 - ‘71.
for a second I thought I read Bernie Sanders...
Ayup. I saw Waters live on his Radio KAOS tour. Musically, a great show. But about 2/3’s the way through, he stopped the show to dispense his “wisdom” to random concert goers his team had come up to a mike booth they’d set up on the floor.
It was pretentious to the point of cringe-inducing. I almost felt bad for the uniformed jackwagon...until I remembered he got my ticket money already. :(
The Jews haven’t brought any more misery to this benighted planet than anyone else.
It’s always easy and cheap to pick on a minority upon whom to vent one’s frustrations with life whose only particular wish has been to go about their business unmolested.
I hear you. Reminds me of that Canadian that Southern men don’t need around.
Sandler makes no secret that he's a republican. A liberal one, sure.
But he was one of Giuliani's biggest supporters.
Wouldn't surprise me if he supports Trump.
Within ten years, after the Jews made a success of that, the Jew-haters would be organizing against that and calling for them to be relocated to Mars.
As for Sandler, haven't liked anything he's done since Happy Gilmore, but bravo to him for standing up to the BDS movement and crazies.

Really? How old are you? Can’t you make a point without bringing your own homo fantasies into the discussion?
