Nope. Action and consequence. Liberals demanded we elect them no matter what and got the liberalism they were promised from the liberals they knowingly elected.

They did campaign on working with Obama after all.

Folks, if people wanted conservatism, they would vote for conservatives. There is no ‘against the Democrat” check box on a ballot. You vote FOR. And people voted FOR those that campaigned on liberalism after displaying YEARS of liberal actions.

Man up folks. ‘WE” collectively did this to ourselves. Vote like men next time instead of gutless cowards.

As if Romney would have done much different.

You are blaming Americans for not voting for two evils, not smart.

In case you didn’t notice, the presidential election cycle is once every four years. And so you just might be able to understand that the frontrunner support for Donald Trump is the voter reaction along with Jeb Bush as GOPe choice at very low support.

Stop blaming Americans for a corrupt system. They are responding in the only way they can short of violence and they are not organized for that but will be if the status quo does not change.

Great points Norm and yes we all bear responsibility for this mess. Other than the LIV's and active leftists voting FOR leftists, if we did not get engaged then we hold some of the blame. The problem we have starts at the most local, most immediate repositories of governmental power. Some times you choose to dance with a candidate that is not perfect but is sure better than the alternative on a couple key issues.

I have been a county committeeman and got to interview many people with political aspirations seeking ballot line access. If you don't have people deciding strictly on the basis of the most conservative candidate, whatever the office, you get big government, statist people that just want to be part of the gravy train. I, and others I read, lament the lack of civic involvement on the part of ordinary Americans. It is a woefully small percentage of any party, club, affiliation that actually show up and say aye or nay. To any issue.

I think the left realized this long ago and saw that it is possible to enact radical change with very few "activists" acting in concert. It's why you see so many progressive events/groups made up of the same people. IOW, the right needs to get off it's a$$ and stop just complaining.
