The leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee said Wednesday that they are not investigating whether Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) discussed classified information during Tuesday's presidential debate.
"The Committee is not investigating anything said during last night's Republican Presidential debate," Sens. Richard Burr (R-N.C.) and Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the top two members of the panel, said in a statement.
They issued the statement after Burr told reporters on Wednesday morning that he had asked his staff to review the debate transcript for references Cruz made to a National Security Agency (NSA) surveillance program during a back-and-forth with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).

I have this picture in my head of John McCain, frothing at the mouth with glee, calling Senator Richard Burr on the phone last night as the debate was in progress to insist that he investigate Ted Cruz. On the phone, I hear Lindsey Graham giggling in the background. Nah, it’s just my overactive imagination.

The surveillance state is even bigger than previously acknowledged, useless against terrorists, and is designed to enslave Americans and usher in the global police state.
An election won’t likely reverse the path to ever hardening tyranny. Regular people are going to have to start resisting in meaningful ways. Getting out on the streets, boycotting corporate sponsors of tyranny, refusing to attend events with “security”, basically withdrawing consent.
