Very easy to read. Cruz has always backed legal status, this is from late 2013, even after the gang of 8 bill failed. Cruz reiterated this again in March 2015, stating that his policies on immigration were always consistent. Cruz never supported deportations.

Legal Status without Deportation = not enforcing immigration laws = amnesty

Yes, old news for me. Note that in the MSNBC article, the Cruz spokesman confirms the accuracy of the Tribune article by stating that Cruz’s views therein had not changed.

Exactly, which is a shame because I know I heard Cruz on a radio interview last month speak forcefully that he does not support any kind of amnesty.

So something changed somewhere.

Legal status is amnesty. Anything short of deporting illegal aliens is amnesty. Therefore, Cruz supports amnesty.

This article was already posted back in March. Which by the way seems to be about 6 months before you joined.

Trump's Expedited Legal Status with Deportation = Amnesty too

He [Trump] continued, "I would expedite it [the process] because some of these people are fantastic people. I've been to the border. I was there a few days ago. I met some people. These are fantastic people, and they have great reputations within their community. So, what I'd do is I'd expedite it. But, you have to have laws. If you don't have laws, you don't have a country. I would get them out and try and - the good ones. And the bad ones, they're gone. They never come back. They'll never get back into this country. But, the good ones, of which there are many, I want to expedite it so they can come back in legally." Oh yes, and the INS will be so very selective as directed by an employer of hordes of busboys, maids, groundskeepers, and construction laborers known to pay borderline slave wages in his foreign developments in such pillars of the West as Istanbul and Dubai.

See tag line.

“Legal Status without Deportation = not enforcing immigration laws = amnesty”

There is NO middle ground with immigration - it is done legally or not. There is no semi-legal category.

Trump’s the only one with a conservative illegal immigration plan. I escaped Mexifornia, moving 2300 miles to get rid of the ugliness that millions of 3rd world entitlement-mobs bring. So I’m going with the only candidate that will give us our country back. if I have to write him in, so be it. I will never vote for anything less than NO amnesty, using my (and your) definition. The way everyone but Trump lie about what is amnesty is despicable and doesn’t earn my vote.
