Legal Status without Deportation = not enforcing immigration laws = amnesty
Yes, old news for me. Note that in the MSNBC article, the Cruz spokesman confirms the accuracy of the Tribune article by stating that Cruz’s views therein had not changed.
I oppose Pastel Immigration policies, regardless of source.
One aims for the jugular if one wants a sure win.
Anything else is wimpoid liberal cr*p.
Exactly, which is a shame because I know I heard Cruz on a radio interview last month speak forcefully that he does not support any kind of amnesty.
So something changed somewhere.
The real story.
And Cruz is lying to his supporters that he “never” supported legalization.
Notice how those tweets completely ignore the basic issue, and don’t deny Cruz’s policy of being against deportations.
Whether you call it a ‘pathway to citizenship’ or not, the fact remains it’s a form of amnesty for people breaking the law.
Cruz = against deportations = in support of legal status = amnesty.
RightScoop's a joke. They can't explain why Cruz supported this middle ground after the Gang of Eight fight was already over, nor can they explain why he would ever declare support for legalization DURING the fight, since that would be lying to begin with.
Cruz Lies as his Bots Cry
There is only one candidate that is saying deport the 11 million illegal immigrants and that is Donald Trump.
No Clinton weasel words like I don’t “intend” to support legalization.

Legal status is amnesty. Anything short of deporting illegal aliens is amnesty. Therefore, Cruz supports amnesty.
Yes it is very disheartening, I had Cruz as a solid second pick.
It’s a lie to everybody. His hard supporters won’t care. But the GOPe and the left will have a field day.
How they thought this would not come up is beyond me. Can’t wait to see how Rush spins this tomorrow.
This article was already posted back in March. Which by the way seems to be about 6 months before you joined.
