The kid’s mom is missing as well as the kid.
I would guess she is helping him hide.

I agree...and might add that Mama probably didn’t think the ramifications through very thoroughly.....she’s not gonna like being behind bars.

They have the money.
And Venezuela isn't too far.

Their apparent disappearance comes shortly after a video turned up on social media that allegedly shows Couch at a party where alcohol is being consumed, CNN affiliate KTVT reported. The video shows Couch standing alongside peers playing beer pong. If you are on probation Facebook is not your friend. If you are doing anything you should not be you can bet that it is going to end up on Facebook or whatever social media you might be using.
If people are stupid enough to put video of themselves beating the crap out of someone on Facebook you can bet your freedom they sure are going to put you on there playing beer pong.
The kid deserved to go to prison for manslaughter before now he deserves to go to jail for criminal stupidity.

Ethan Couch's defense coined an infamous defense -- that he suffered from "affluenza," or that he was a rich kid who was less to blame for his crime because his parents didn't set limits for him. Its not just the rich. The poor or anyone else with a decent sob story gets off the hook. No one is responsible for the consequences of their own actions anymore.

Eric Boyles, Hollie's husband and Shelby's father, felt the judge had been far too easy on Couch and angrily spoke out against how Couch was treated. "The primary message has to absolutely be that money and privilege can't buy justice in this country," he said.
Yes. It can. And, it does.
I have seen it far too many times. The wealthy and the "connected" can get away with nearly anything. Can't afford a bottom feeding, lowlife, scumbag "lawyer" and you are damned certain to be doing serious time. And, you will get a record that will stop you from getting a decent job and you will be forever marked as trash.
This is America.
Get used to it, because no one really gives a damn.

Which is why we have “poor” multiple offenders of all races who have racked up dozens of covictions totalling lifetimes behind bars still on the street wreaking havoc on the innocent.

Another instance of afluenza was under aged Malia shown playing beer pong, nothing happened to her or the adults but the college was made to apologize.
Maybe a new judge will throw the book at this twerp and his mommy.
