Trump won because nothing much changed.
No one broke any new ground, no one made a fatal gaffe. It was more of the same, which ALWAYS benefits the front runner. Cruz was, however, his usual impressive self - and he will make a fine Presidential understudy as Trump’s Veep, in preparation for taking the job starting on 1/20/2025.
agree completely. As watching it I was getting a little annoyed that they weren’t giving Trump much time, but then I realized it helps him.
When they mentioned him considering Cruz as a VP with both of them in the shot it was very telling that neither flinched or changed expression. If Cruz wasn’t interested he would have laughed it off or made some sort of expression change I would think.
Trump/Cruz 2016 I think that will sufficiently turn out the base.

Bush is just one of several in this poll that have 0%. Even under Common Core math that means no votes! Wonder how long his donors will keep wasting their money. Can’t imagine Barbara letting this go on much longer. Has to be pretty humiliating for their family.
A little historical fact: WWII we broke the German and Japanese codes to find out their plans. We jammed their radio transmissions to block their propaganda and information. We played our own propaganda on Radio Free Europe for a couple of generations afterward to destabilize the Russian Bear. Now when Trump and Cruz propose similar, Paul and the others go ballistic. C'mon. Get real.
