Such projection on the author's part, because his writing is full of theatrics and pageantry.
But he is wrong about Hitler bringing the world down with him. No, America became the world's new superpower from Hitler's fall. And with it, we and the world had a pretty good run.
If Trump can dump this author, America has a shot of extending that good run.
The only people talking about killing Jews and other people they don’t like are the Muslims.
And you’re pissed off at the guy suggesting we do something about those people?
Wow, the Left is panicking!
Especially for this election, and it’s only getting started.
The lefties seem to be serving as the muslim’s offensive line, trying to break holes in our defense, so the muzzies can run the ball down our throat.
So is the GOPe. Oh wait -- same difference. :)
Yep.
Sick of it already.
The New York Times have done the impossible.
They have changed my mind about gun control.
I now advocate strict bans on all forms of guns.
Well, at least in New York City.
No way that unhinged freaks like exist in the New York Times should be ANYWHERE near a gun.
Liberals like to compare X GOP candidate to Hitler.
If you don’t like someone’s views, just call ‘em a Nazi.
To liberals, any one to their right is a fascist.
I’m not sad that tyrants are taking my freedom.
There will always be people trying to do that.
I’m sad that no one is interested in stopping these people. :(
Imagine manhattan becoming the world’s largest gun-free zone! The muzzies would have an orgasm.
It’s funny how all political persuassions like to compare their enemies to the nutzies.
Maybe someday the world will use the islamic terrorists in the same way.
dem·a·gogue
ËdemÉËɡäɡ/
noun
a political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument.
synonyms: rabble-rouser, agitator, political agitator, soapbox orator, firebrand, fomenter, provocateur
“he was drawn into a circle of campus demagogues”
(in ancient Greece and Rome) a leader or orator who espoused the cause of the common people.
Just look at Trump and Cruz. They’re willing to fight.
Demagogue
Democrat.
Dem’s da same dayum thing. :)
Glenn Beck claimed last week that America wants fascism because of the level of support for Trump.
Journalist Peter Hitchens made a comparison between conditions today and Weimar Germany that will strike a nerve with many of us in this forum.
This was posted on his blog Monday in a discussion of the National Front in France:
“My attitude towards such parties of the so-called ‘Far Right’ (How far is far? Who measures it? Who decides when to apply this epithet?) is that their existence and strength is a reproach to cultures which have expelled responsible and civilized conservative opinion from their parliaments, academies and media, dismissing them as ‘fascists’. Such cultures have created a large and gormless class of frustrated, voiceless people who will, if provoked long enough, vote for almost anyone who is not the establishment.
It’s a sort of Weimar Republic problem. The liberal left have the upper hand, and use it so carelessly and arrogantly, so totally despising those who disagree with them, that they risk losing not just their own superficial gains, but the whole of free society. I believe this to be true, and have tried arguing it with members of the new elite, quite often. They haven’t been interested.”
You mean like how Zero seduced the nation with considerable help from the media, pop culture and the Republican establishment and took the world down with him ?
Did weimar germany have muslim terrorism and illegal alien problems?
No.
The comparison is weak.
Thanks for the post.
What does gormless mean?
