If you ask a high level cigar chomping General who actually won a war, the answer is ‘yes’. Geopolitical stability is good insofar as national security is concerned.
Dictators are better than mass migration and Jihadists taking over. The Iranian revolution showed us we are better off without Muslims in control of their own nations. Sad to say, but for our interests we are better off with the Saddams fo the world.
