It's maybe too early to completely write off Jeb Bush's struggling presidential campaign.
But it isn't too early to declare that the $35 million - and counting - that Bush and his allies have spent in TV ads since September might go down as the least effective advertising campaign in presidential history.
Consider: Despite that more than $35 million, spent mostly by the pro-Bush Super PAC Right to Rise, Bush's national poll numbers remain stuck in the single digits, with a recent national Monmouth poll showing him at just 3 percent.
What's more, Bush and his allies have spent a whopping $17 million in New Hampshire alone, but Bush is just in single digits there.
And they've spent $9 million in Iowa, yet Bush's favorable/unfavorable rating is upside down among GOP caucus-goers, according to the Des Moines Register/Bloomberg poll.

Thank the Lord. A year ago everyone was saying that Bush had it all wrapped up and that Cruz and Trump were sideshow candidates.
Money is NOT king in politics. You actually have to have voters.
A huge contribution made by Trump is to show the path on not playing by the media’s rules. Trump is sucking the air out of the room, and moves on to the next target before the media can fully absorb the last hit.
Or perhaps TV ads are just no longer effective in Presidential campaigns. Trump is driven by Instagram and Twitter.
I think Trump has only spent about $260,000 so far. That's less than half what I paid for my house and he's as much as 30 points ahead. Now that's stretching the value of a dollar.
If an ordinary person like Donald Trump can win the presidency, that bodes very well for all of us.
So glad that none of my hard earned cash is in Bush’s drawer.
I pity those suckers who have wasted theirs.
Jeb is in Lindsey Graham & George Pataki territory.
All that money and no one wants to vote for him!
Mr “Fix It” is better off quitting and finding cool things to do.
Like run for the Mexican presidency.
Hasta la vista, Jeb and let door hit you in your ugly butt on the way out.
lose the coke bottle glasses Jeb
Trump is driven by Instagram and Twitter.

But he is also fortunate enough to have the media hating him so much that he is getting more coverage than the sitting pResident.....
Trump belches or fartz and it gets reported from every angle, by every outlet.
Can’t buy publicity like that.......
Jebbe’s next book...”How to Piss it all away”
Jeb!’s play is the same as every “consensus” Republican before him.
He steps out to an early lead in a crowded field with 15% of the vote, and the establishment immediately starts telling us that we all have to get behind the inevitable candidate.
Trump has made that impossible. There is no way they were going to be telling us to get behind Donald Trump. For that we owe him a debt of gratitude.
Not enough to get me to vote for him, though. I am a Ted Cruz fan...
