What Does the Bible Actually Say About How Christians are to View Muslim Immigration?

We present below two lists of verses of interest below.

First of all, we do NOT attempt to answer this question, or even weigh-in on the answer here. Instead, we attempt to list, without comment, every single Bible verse which has some relevance to the topic at hand. We let the Bible speak for itself.

Our goal is this: If the Bible addresses the question of interest, then it does so in the verses listed here. Otherwise unless we've missed something, the Bible DOES NOT ADDRESS IT.

Our only comment is to say that, generally speaking, the Bible may or may not fully address our questions of temporal socio-political interests. It may not address our favorite temporal question at all. It may address our question only tangentially.

Shown below are two lists of Bible verses. The first list is an attempt to list exhaustively every Bible verse which touches somehow on the following topic:

"Treatment by Hebrews, Israelites, Jews, Christians, Judah, and Israel of foreigners, aliens, sojourners, immigrants, travelers, and those following other gods, especially when those peoples are a minority presence in lands held by Hebrews, Israelites, Jews, Christians, Judah, and Israel."

The second list is a SAMPLING of Bible verses which pertain to foreigners, aliens, sojourners, immigrants, travelers, and those following other gods in other contexts, especially when those contexts involve Hebrews, Jews, Christians, etc.

As you examine both these lists, but especially the second list, look for:

Does this verse concern Hebrews? Biblical Jews? Modern Jews? Christians? Israel? Judah? Israelistes? All people? All times?

Does this verse concern foreigners per se, or is it more concerned with foreign gods?

Does this verse concern the permanent alien resident? Short- term, temporary travelling alien?

Does this verse concern God's people living in their own lands, or God's followers living in other lands?

Does this verse concern foreigners or aliens (etc.) living in the lands of God's people, or living in their own lands?

Does this verse concern Israelites living in God's land, where the Hebrews are aliens in land belonging to God?

Does this verse concern God's people behaving badly? By adopting alien practices? With alien gods?

Does this verse concern a Bible-following majority living amongst a foreign minority, or a Bible-following minority living amongst a foreign majority?

Does this verse pertain to attitudes (rather than living relations) regarding aliens, foreigners, etc.? Positive attitudes? Negative attitudes?

Does this verse pertain to God-followers being treated well or being treated poorly?

Does this verse pertain to aliens being treated well or being treated poorly?

Does this verse pertain to illegally resident persons?

Does this verse pertain to aliens having malevolent intent? In the country with nefarious purposes?

Does this verse pertain mostly to differences in religious practices and beliefs, and less to national, governmental, and civic requirements?

Does this verse pertain to expectations of the individual, or does it instead pertain to expecations of the collective group?

Does this verse pertain to personal interactions, or does it instead pertain to community or national policy choices?

Is this verse prescriptive or is it instead descriptive? Does it say "you should serve the alien a cup of coffee," or does it say "Jacob served the alien a cup of coffee?"

It says treat him nicely until he starts sawing your head off, raping your women or running you down with a stolen automobile.

If the immigrant is from Amalek, the Bible is pretty tough on them.

I would have to put a pot of strong coffee on to get through that.

Jesus broke the Ten Commandments down to two: Love God, Love your Neighbor.

I agree .. but I think people need to realize that some “immigrants” are coming here as a ruse (an ulterior motive). The REASON they are coming here is TO KILL US AND TRANSFORM AMERICA.

I’m SORRY, BUT I’M NOT GOING TO BE NICE TO THAT KIND OF PERSON. No one has the RIGHT to take my life.

OT Jewish law was never intended to apply to anyone besides Jews, and laws concerning the homeland apply only in the Land of Israel.

That’s not not even going into the differences between English meanings and meanings in the original language.

No verses state that we have to put up with any crap from them, though He may deliver us into their hands. When He does that, we got it coming to us.

Holy crap! But that’s a lot of love thy neighbor stuff. Quite a difference between this and that “I’ll keel you” cult.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Sums it up. If I were doing as these jihadists are doing;
I would have the persons I was doing it to just evict my
butt!

MORATORIUM - as Trump suggested - is sensible.

What’s Hussein Obama’s all-fired hurry to usher in
thousands of these “immigrants” IMMEDIATELY!! Slow down.

These nannies and dishwashers are going to go back where they came from or they are gonna die!

We need about a million men under arms to go door to door throughout the nation, and doing car by car searches at highway roadblocks, and anyone who cannot produce their papers is going to be put on a boxcar to Nuevo Laredo.

And he knew they would try to plunder this nation. I like Thomas Jeffersons perspective on moslem. And, I go on record saying God already called Americans to arms on moslem, on September 11, 2001. We should head His call.

I would investigate “invasion” rather than alien or stranger. We are dealing with the mass invasion of our land.
