Used to. The ship channel last caught fire in the early 90's.
I seen it, yep.
It has been cleaned up some since then.
It is lined with many miles of refineries and chem plants
and attendant ships and barges and whatnot. Probably a good
idea to keep it at least unlikely to catch fire.
