An ideologue is only used as a disparaging term for one’s opponents. Barrack and Fidel are not, by self-definition, opponents. What does that tell us about Barrack? (Yeah, I knew that even before 2008!)
FYI: Even assuming (doubtful) he is not an ideologue NOW does not mean that he was not one in the past. You do not give 5+ hour speeches with mandatory listening without being tarred by that brush!
