of course what you show is correct
and would call for a brokered event
but that’s not the scenario being discussed
the thing being bandied about is doing that to a clear winner

Not really. Everything that I have seen on this “brokered convention” story line is just media generated hype, partly to invent something to talk about and partly to create infighting among Republicans. What they are really hoping for is to keep 20% of GOP voters home next November.

Given the posts I've seen on this thread, I'd say that the media has been wildly successful.

Ted Cruz has been holding the line as a Constitutional Conservative, fighting the good fight, for years now. And yet, the Washington Post and MSNBC can instantly get 20-30% of Freepers to hate his guts.

Its time that a bunch of you people wake the hell up and stop being so easily manipulated. First, hold onto the ideology and forget about cults of personality. After 50 years I'll tell you that personalities ALWAYS disappoint. I'm enjoying Trumps run, although he's not my first choice, and I'll vote for him over Hildabeast, but some of you folks act like he's Kim Kardashian and you are just mega-fans swooning at the heels of celebrity.

Trumps got issues, so does Carson, so does Rubia, and in fact, so does my guy Cruz, but none of those issues rise to anywhere close to the ideologically evil issues of Clinton and Sanders.

So if you are acting like a tween at a Beeber concert over your 1st choice candidate, step back, get a grip, and remember what this is about.
