Early in our history we had fistfights in Congress just as the Ukrainians are now having fistfights.

“In the early days of our United States government, name calling in the Congressional chambers was commonplace, much as it is today. However, in those earlier days when tempers flared, it often led to fisticuffs and violence in the U.S. Congress.”

Ah, but there is a difference. Our Congressmen were not agents for foreign nations, and we still recognized the Code Duello for those really persistent irritations.
