This is a healthy - 1st Amendment allowed and encouraged - expression of how many see the current GOP presidential primary race and national state of affairs.

As Rush so fittingly puts it, Obama birthed Trump.

He misses the saddest and most important point. Obama had the national media behind him.
The media overpowers the constitutional divisions of power.

They decide.

President Cruz will need several pens since there is a lot to undo before he starts doing.

It will never happen. Remember, there are different rules for Democrats and Republicans.

The media cartel will relentlessly attack a President Trump, as they did President Bush.

The media cartel relentlessly promoted and supported President Obama in his expansion of power.

They will work hard to limit the power of a Republican president.

It is what everyone can see now. The media is already setting the stage for attacks on a Republican president by saying how dangerous to the Republic it is for a Republican to follow the precedents created by Barack Obama.

Anyone can see what they are doing. It is obvious.

You will be happy because it won’t be Trump or Cruz. Maybe they can open the crypt and drag Walker back out.

Title reminds me of an old Chris LeDoux song, “This Old Hat”. :)

Article is obviously written by a Cruz supporter. Full of vicious name calling and falsely stated Trump positions. I guess I should have become accustomed to that, I don’t know why I keep expecting integrity and truth.

Libs will start quoting the Constitution like they wrote it once a Republican issues executive orders.

To make “a phone and a pen” work, you have to have a guaranteed lock on 34 senators against conviction of impeachment. And you need journalism behind you to get that.

None of the above is available to either Trump or Cruz.

Bottom line. The most that might be done is to force the Democrats to back a regime of limitations on future abuses of executive power - in effect, a weakening of the executive branch. Under threat of indicting Obama for his abuses. Even then, the president would not actually jail a former president if he had any choice in the matter. It just is not done, for it would set a precedent that no president can safely leave office to a successor.

In order to effect real change the MSM - read, wire service journalism - must be brought to book. They are supposedly our informants, but in fact they are ignorant arrogance factories. It is obvious that the AP newswire constitutes a continual virtual meeting of all major journalism, and this constitutes a conspiracy in restraint of trade Borg where the framers of the Constitution expected vigorous ideological competition.

A simple antitrust action against the AP - for triple damages, if brought as a civil suit - could suffice.

Trump’s phone will be gold plated and his pen will write in gold ink.

It never ends with you.

No graphics, no targeted response to decimate your inane commentary, I just encourage you to get some professional help for your pathological Trump-hatred.

They will have something else we haven’t seen in almost eight years, a media that is hostile and questions the Presidents every word.

I hope he uses the phone to call the FBI to initiate investigating OhBobblehead for treason, and then used his pen to cross out all the executive orders over the past two terms.
