I agree.
Many of the socially conservative voters are ignorant of the differences between what powers the Federal gov. possesses per the U.S.Constitution, and those powers left to the several States.
Medicine (abortion) and marriage are not issues which the Federal Gov. possesses the power to regulate - only the States. Yet social conservatives insist candidates for the Republican nominee for President have qualities equivalent for sainthood.
A single-issue candidate is a weak candidate for President.
