I disagree with the author.

They ARE evil. They are not indifferent. They want power and will do whatever it takes to get it.

That is evil, not indifference.

No matter what happens the average American owes Trump a big thank you. He overturned the rock politic and we can see the squirming worms in the daylight.

Exactly. Much has been exposed that cannot be hidden again.

He's lit a fire that hopefully will keep burning.

If that's ALL he does, he's done this country a huge service.

That’s what I have read numerous times: there was no Viet Cong after Tet.

They were all committed to the offence by orders from the North and then wiped off the fave of the earth.

One author ( retired military general ) suggested the North wanted them gone anyway.

Apropos of nothing....we were picnicking on the lawn of the Shakespeare Festival Theatre in Stratford before a performance; and Bill Buckley moored his sailboat *The Cyrano* and he and Pat came ashore with Mr & Mrs Cronkite, also just in time for the curtain.

At that time, mid-60’s IIRC, I was so enamored of Buckley [& Goldwater] that I thought, if Bill could endure Cronkite, so could I. :)

Perhaps only Donald Trump knows his heart and motives, but he's having an effect on everyone unlike anyone I can remember and I hope he's well protected.

It looks like Trump wasn't part of the Kabuki show "they" had planned for US in the fall and they are not indifferent any more.

Here's a repeat from the past that goes well with the article.

Considering the PTBs' talent for bad behavior and not playing well with others who get in the way, here's another quote from that same source:

I read that war is when your government tells you who the enemy is.
Revolution is when you figure it out for yourself.

We're not there yet, but it looks like it's been placed on our itinerary.

Can Trump change that? We'll just have to wait and see...

I sure hope so, but I didn't see any reason for hope until he showed up.

Hits the nail on the head pretty much I’d say.

It’s as simple as saying that those in power have no motivation to change things and they are in fact afraid of true change (not the Obama kind which was simply more government, but the REAL kind - less government and more individual freedom) because change threatens their grip on power.

The American People need to wade deeply into that truth.

It is my opinion that Ted Cruz is the best man, also. I supported Michelle Bachmann and Newt Gingrich in 2012. Instead we got that turkey, Mitt Romney. I want an intellectual Conservative in the White hut House and Sen. Cruz fits that bill.

You made me laugh! Thanks for the “Maniac” link. I hadn’t heard that song in a long, long time. I looked back at my “Richard Blade’s Fashback Favorites” CD collection to see if I had it, but I don’t.

I am alright with Cruz and Trump going at it. Hell, that’s what politician’s do. I just hope they don’t pull the full-fledged burning-one’s-bridges maniac card when doing it. We’ll see.
