I want to see Trump do a dictator act when he assumes office. Alla yall protest against that thought because it is so unConstitutional but the Constitution is dead. It cannot be revived so long as the EPA and the other Agencies still exist. The President is NOW a dictator. A Trump cannot give the powers back to Congress that Congress has ceded and if he tries to work within the Constitution and not simply abolish the structures of the totalitarian bureaucracy then he cedes his dictatorial power to the Agencies led by the EPA and there is no hope left for regaining the Republic.

Were he, and he is the only one that would even try it, to kill the Agencies, and by the way, the Civil Service, then he should induce the States to quickly call that Article 5 Convention then enforce whatever the States come up with for one year or until the end of 1 term then step down.

There is much danger in turning over our hopes to a Napoleon and that is what he appears to be, but with any of the others the direction cannot be changed. Either they will do Amnesty and forever enthrone the Democrats or Cruz will stick to Constitutional niceties and make no headway. Any of several of these candidates can and probably will right the Ship of State insofar as Defense and the Islamic War go but cannot/will not root out the cancer that is near to fatal for the Republic. The danger of Napoleon is, of course, that he might turn out to be Napoleon.

Makes sense. But then Denninger needs to find another word than “evil.” Because all the people he discusses certainly are. From Cronkite to Obama, petty, stupid, and squalid as they are, they are still demonic.

All that you said is true but it goes further. Cronkite was, like Edward R. Murrow before him, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations' inner circle and a strong proponent of the New World Order with the UN in charge of the planet. Cronkite was a strong proponent of gun control because he knew as long as the populace was armed, that NWO goal would never come to pass. That agenda is in itself evil. The entire media establishment is dedicated to that single goal, whether they know it or not, because that is the goal of their bosses who most certainly DO know what it's all about!

Is this guy actually watching the GOPeers? It isn't about power. They don't want power. There is nothing they want to do with power. What is the Boehner/Ryan/McConnell agenda? What are they pushing. You don't know and I don't know. They push nothing.

They don't have any agenda except just getting their cut. They are running a protection racket - Obama, go do what you want. We don't care. We will give you the votes to make it happen. All you have to do is put in some goodies for us and a few friends of ours. And it costs you nothing because it is all paid for by the taxpayers. Cronkite later admitted, after his retirement, that he missed the power of "setting the agenda." Walter Cronkite was pretty much a traitor, although he would most likely have been protected by shysters in a court of law.

BTW the Tet Offensive was indeed a massive defeat for the communists which resulted in the wiping out of the guerrilla Viet Cong forces in the South, while the NVA regulars ended up marching into Saigon with tanks, trucks and artillery 7 years later, after a democrat Congress cut off air support and other promised aid to South Vietnam.
