Congress enables him. They authorize the expenditure of taxpayer dollars. Just saying.
Back in the old days of the USA Republic, the Congress had the power of the purse. Now, it is merely an administrative body, well paid, to do the President’s bidding. We would do as well without Congress.
This “deal” is wealth distribution. It has nothing to do with “da enviomen” or “saving da planet”. Every one involved in this scam should be arrested and sent to jail.
Good thing we went to the trouble of gaining control of the house and senate last (s)election then. HUH?
And yet the video of him calling Bush “unpatriotic” for raising the debt is Never shown on the alphabets.
Whoever wins the primary should have that line played over and over and cut to the deficit growing by a trillion after each time he says it.
It’s unpatriotic.
13 trillion.
It’s unpatriotic
14 trillion
It’s unpatriotic
15 trillion...
Thank God we have a socialized currency and a Federal Reserve that can print up all the unbacked, fiat debt notes we need. Otherwise we could never afford these leftist schemes
The one big power that congress has is the power of the purse. They could have constrained Obama long ago but completely neglected to do so. And now they complain (after they abdicated their authority) that he’s spending money without proper authorization.
The House should have put the brakes on Obama’s reckless spending but they failed to do so. The Senate should never have allowed the Iran deal to be characterized as an agreement instead of a treaty that required 2/3 approval. When you allow someone to take an inch, they usually will take a mile.
It’s just another”ObamaTreaty” that won’t be put through the Senate. Don’t these qualify as “High crimes and misdemeanors”?
Not by today’s rules. Subvert the constitution? Meh.
The article ends with “Heâs not a monarch, heâs not a king. This isnât the way we live, this isnât the way America has been.”
“That’s not who we are!”
We’re up to $18.785 TRILLION now and rapidly closing in on the big $20T. Your share of the national debt as a taxpayer is about $157,000. But that pales in comparison to your share of the unfunded liabilities which is a whopping $840,000!
So...each taxpayer owes about $1,000,000. We are totally screwed.
Absolutely true. Good comment.
The politicized Fed is at the heart of our spending problems. They are the primary enablers. Of course, the congress loves spending too but only the Fed can print money on the fly.
unreal.
yeah, geez, we’re in trouble.
I laughed out loud for real at the “we are totally screwed” statement because I recognize the line from a movie, but I can’t remember which movie it was.
some kind of comedy/horror? i’ll be in psych by the end of the week having gone mad trying to remember it.
How about that climate BS. This will turn out to be the biggest hoax played on the world since the Piltdown Man. That took 40 years to be finally uncovered. Another turd in our Muslim mutts’ legacy. We should be so proud, HA!
Muslims schmuslims. Sea level rise. Now that’s somefin to be concerned about by golly. And yet, there are plenty of UPOS/LPOS/SPOS/IPOS that buy it lead anchor and all.
It was “Tommy Boy”
The jerky guy says it when he finds out Tommy is going to take over the business after pop dies.
He’s one apple that fell far from the tree.
lol.
“R.T., i lost my virginity to your daughter, for crying out loud! Rob, you were there”
