Foregone conclusion; I never bothered to check the returns tonight.

Actually, it was a squeaker. Turner won by 2%. I took a peek at 4 election results for Houston, and this was the smallest margin by a factor of 3.

A close vote, but it is liberal Houston. I never had much doubt about the outcome.
