Oh, come on Billy, Wildcat and the other anti-Trumpers have so little to work with...............gotta cut them a little slack.

Although, it would seem that a ‘Republican Wildcat’ would be backing the fierce and unpredictable fighter in the race. The one whose fangs and claws are razor sharp and strong as nails.

youngster! I wish lol!

And what you say makes sense.

We got our lucky break with Nader too.

It’s not popular these days, but I’m still a Cruz firster on most days :)

Depends on what issue affects me the most that day.

Was it you that did all those things on your home page?

Good Lord.

I’m just a little confused because it’s third person.

If true, I once again have had the most BORING life of all the folk on FR!

Sorry for the confusion, but yes that is some of what I ‘ve done. Boring is often better in the end than not.

I will have to take your word for it, the boring being better than.. But it does sound pretty exciting. you can look back on a full very fascinating life. Not many can.Il i notice there are a number of guys that served in the sixties on this board. I also fear that at 47 I am in a dwindling number of folks my age who think the way your generation does. gay marriage, American exceptionalism, the advantages of self reliance, many I know under 50 have different views on at least one of these topics than the last generation. and not for the better. But I am from New York City and not well traveled so I hope the rest of the country is different.

NYC -— was originally from Jersey.

There are a lot of new people on here - some are the usual trolls looking for a flame fight, others are, so some claim, Russian trolls, still more are Dem operatives, apparently.

Many of the posters here when I came have left or been zotted for one reason or another. With each leaving, there is a slight change in the tone and character of the sight - same for additions - but have not actually seen a new addition (I know of) that adds something.

Traveling is an option, do or not do. Does not matter how much or little money one has. But to not have traveled at all and to lie on one’s death bed - being so lucky - and have almost nothing to remember - well, that, all that never done is what death takes (the Cretan Glance - Nikos Kazantzakis).

Just do whatever you can to add richness to your life, even if that means not traveling. Take up ice skating for example, shuffle board etc - anything different.

Thanks for the very good advice.

There’s a lot more to the world than NYC. And Vegas :)
