Regarding the data mining the Cruz campaign is doing - every ad and marketing agency in the world do it. That’s what they do for a living. When the info is parsed they put together ad campaigns. Nothing nefarious going on.
Cruz is planning on an effective, targeted blitz when he unleashes it. Compare with the untargeted blitz unleashed by Bush that loses voters every time his commercials air for the low low price of $50 million.
Cruz is trying to make a wise investment with his campaign dollars. You know, be conservative with them?
Trump comes from the “no such thing as bad publicity” school of thought.
Different strategies for different campaigns.
Because Trump needs a tough smart VP and Cruz is the one he thinks he can work with. These two have a deal.
I don’t necessarily want to piss on everybody’s good time here, but who cares why Trump isn’t attacking Cruz? Does it have any bearing on whether Trump or Cruz is a good candidate? This sort of analysis seems akin to the water cooler talk about the latest TV reality show. “Do you think Ted and Donald will form an alliance?” Some aspects of politics do matter, and should be followed, but a lot of it is just wallowing in the pointless drama. If that is your hobby, fine, but time could be better spent reading a book, stocking your SHTF shelves, practicing at the shooting range, or just enjoying a good day with your loved ones. Just a friendly reminder.

I agree 100%. When the two sat down in Trump Towers, early on, they struck a pact. That is all I am going to say about what I think occurred in that meeting because the plan has to remain ‘unpredictable.’

I sincerely believe that Trump hates political correctness as much as I do, and I love his in-your-face/down-in-the gutter method of dealing with it. I believe he is the man who is most likely and most able to do something about massive illegal immigration.
I was never all that interested in Donald Trump, and in my younger years regarded him as a bit of a rake.
But he is the right man for these strange times.

I know no trump supporters care anything about what he has done or any of his past views or how he belittles people -trump supporters especially love that and practice his techniques on freepers who do not agree.

Cruz has already influenced Trump. Where do you got Trump decent policies from? if Trump had any control over his mouth or any real policy knowledge I would think about him.
