White House Can't Name One Mass Shooting That Would Have Been Stopped By New Gun Laws

In today's press briefing, the Obama White House proved what Second Amendment supporters already know: no new gun control laws, especially those proposed by the president, would have prevented any new mass shootings. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest was asked by The Wall Street Journal's Byron Tau if there was any shooting that could have been stopped if an assault weapons ban or stricter backgrounds checks, both supported by this administration, were enacted.

Earnest deflected and pivoted to the Obama administration's latest proposal that those suspected of being terrorists, of which almost 300,000 on the list have no ties to terrorism, shouldn't be allowed to purchase firearms. Again, on its face, this sounds like common sense, until you figure out that these lists are secretive, violate due process of law, and are nothing more than a constitutional mess.

But, but, but.................they swear it'll stop further terrorist attacks and stuff. Interesting graphic at the end of the piece with "suspected terrorist(possibly, kinda, maybe) watch list" breakdown. Yup. Good thing we still have that old innocent until proven guilty thingy workin'. Oh............

Maybe we shouldn’t be too harsh. It is a grand makework jobs program — for government!

Irony intended, of course.

The SB shooters broke 14 laws, I have a feeling that breaking 15 laws was not going to deter them

If you think that the billions we're spending on "homeland security" has anything to do with protecting average Americans from terror, I've got a bridge to sell you.

The key is the no fly list which some faceless bureaucrat can control who is on the list and who is not. Then they can easily control who gets a gun and who doesn’t. Dastardly and evil bastards.

One of the candidates (whoever has the biggest set of ‘nads) needs to speak out forcefully on this issue. “This White House would much prefer an unarmed group of targets waiting to die to an armed citizenry able to defend itself.”

The No Fly List will expand quite a bit after it is government policy nobody on The List can buy/sell/own a firearm. At that point, all the feds need do is simply transfer over the NRA membership list to The No Fly List to help "keep America safe".

Who would stop them?

Gonadal fortitude seems to be missing. AKA lack o’ sack. Whoever can “sack up” might as well tell the u.n. to pack up and call Bekins.

Obozo is obviously lying again about his motive for this EO. Because of the NDAA which allows the override of due process, anyone can claim one as a potential threat, especially to the government (per the HLS agency includes all American Patriots, Christians, ex military), that person or persons can and will be put on the no fly list, thus setting the stage for them to lose their 2nd amendment right and the certain confiscation of their firearms. This EO is all about the establishment government initiating incremental gun confiscation which for the most part will go unnoticed by most. Obozo is sticking it to the American citizens once again and there is no doubt that the traitors in Congress will happily approve.

Gun Control is nothing more than gun confiscation. It’s that simple.

You can’t enslave a population until you take away their ability to defend themselves.
