Actually the Vega was a cute little wagon or sedan delivery, they had a rotten engine. A small Buick V6 would have made it a much better car. It was essentially the same as a Monza, which was available with a V8. Some Vegas got a SBC transplant.
The rest of those s-boxes...meh. The Celebrity was adequate.
What’s an SBC? Actually the 305 V8 Cosworth Vega was nice. The others nit so much. My sister had a Monza and for the most part it was a good car and I’m sure most of that is due to it having the Iron Duke 4 cylinder which ran like a tank.
