I am a Trump supporter: Voters speak out
CNN ^ | December 10, 2015 | MJ Lee and Kait Richmond

(CNN)-Donald Trump's supporters are pissed off, fiercely loyal, and as surprising as the candidate himself.

For almost five months, thousands of voters across the country - many of them disenchanted with the political establishment, fearful that their country is under attack, and desperate to find inspiration in the 2016 campaign - have fueled the Trump phenomenon.

As the billionaire business mogul has broken the conventional rules of politics time and time again this year, his supporters have remained steadfast and loyal, showing remarkable resistance to the stream of criticism that skeptics have thrown Trump's way. And their numbers are growing; Trump was at 36% among Republican leaning voters in a CNN poll this month -- the broadest support yet for the GOP frontrunner. Now, many are digging in their heels as the candidate fights off intense backlash from his latest and most controversial comments yet about banning all Muslims from entering the United States.

Citing the "Republican Party's impotence" and marveling at Trump's "unvarnished" persona, eight Trump supporters shed light on what's behind their allegiance to Trump in an extended interview on "New Day" with CNN's Alisyn Camerota Thursday.

TRUMP IS OUR MIDDLE FINGER !!!

Good one... I'm not even that much of a fan, nor am I confident he can win in November. But I find myself supporting and defending him because of who I see going apoplectic over him. I just want to fan the flames of the unhinged.

Keep observing and learning. Many of us were not fans at the start but over time we learn of the real patriot and not the clown caricature that the media has created:

Donald Trump is a Patriot of the Highest Order:

Donald Trump is a Hardcore Conservative:

The key to understanding Trump is not to pay attention to what he SAYS so much as to observe what he DOES.

Those that criticize Trump are like baseball hecklers in history who booed Babe Ruth for swinging and missing, only to be silenced and made to eat crow when on the next swing, the Babe slammed the ball over the fence.

The blue collar billionaire is not perfect, but he’s damn good and he knows where all the good pros are to tap into.

I have little confidence Trump will win in November. His negatives in the electorate as a whole are very high. Head-to-head against Hillary, his numbers are poor, especially when you consider she's a weak candidate.

Unlike the other candidates (who are doing BETTER than Trump in head to head against Hillary), there is no bump awaiting him from gaining name recognition. People already know who he is, he's better-known than Hillary among the low-info voters who are the swing vote, so there is no upside going forward. His top number is pretty well baked in. If he runs, I will guarantee one thing:

He will not win any debates with Hillary because there will not be any debates. She'll say that she refuses to debate a guy who "isn't a gentleman" and that will be the end of it, a LOT of people will support Hillary in that, including a significant number of Republicans, my mom is one of them, she never voted for a Democrat in 60 years of voting.

General Election, latest poll (Suffolk/USA):
Trump vs. Clinton Clinton 48, Trump 44 Clinton +4
Cruz vs. Clinton Clinton 47, Cruz 45 Clinton +2
Rubio vs. Clinton Rubio 48, Clinton 45 Rubio +3
Carson vs. Clinton Carson 45, Clinton 46 Clinton +1

His only serious chance is if Hillary gets indicted, and Loretta is there at DOJ to make sure that does not happen.

And what, in the political realm, has he DONE? Nada. And what he's SAID in the past is all over the map, he's been conservative and liberal on virtual every issue. And gone back and forth like a ping-pong ball.

Donald has done plenty. If you can’t see it, that’s your problem.

The link in #25 should have helped you figure some of it out. Do you have a reading problem?
