I have called him a patriot half a dozen times in this thread alone! I never said he wasn’t one. The tax the rich thing never gets old because there is always someone to tax “just one time.” Has he changed his mind on this one or not? I can’t keep up.
As far as picking nits, yes. Words have meaning. When someone runs for political office I listen to what they have to say (and observe what they do if already in office). If Trump doesn’t believe all of these liberal positions he has espoused over the years then why did he bother to say them? If he changed his mind again and again then we come full circle to the original topic of the thread: his judgement.
Either he exercises poor judgement, doesn’t have a grasp of the issues or he suffers from diarrhea of the mouth, talking before he thinks, which again, is poor judgement.
I will never be convinced he is a conservative. He doesn’t have the street cred.
