It sounds like the arabic word meaning to crush under foot, or so I’m told.
Remember showing the sole of ones shoe or throwing a show is a MAJOR insult in those parts.

That the vermin have threatened anyone who uses the term, indicates it is an insult that they’re not particularly fond of.
