Abelmageed was a Muslim woman who may have served a role of lookout and/or false witness. Or she may have simply been lying. Or she may have been confused by having microphones and TV cameras in her face while answering questions. I don't know.

There were other witnesses and I can't comment on them but there may have been other Muslims involved in the shooting itself.

Why did they let reporters into the townhouse to destroy evidence? Why have Obama and others said it is just a couple and not part of a larger terrorist network?

There are clearly more people involved. These people were well trained. They were well armed for other missions. I doubt they were truly married but rather both part of a terrorist group that used the marriage as a way to get Malik into the country.

Abdelmageed admits that she dropped down and hid during most of the shooting. She may not have seen that much and may not be someone who can accurately remember what they see. Also from embarrassment, she may not have wanted to admit that it could be yet another Muslim attack.

They had probably already swarmed over the condo and seized everything listed on the search warrant which probably only related to the two shooters. Maybe the search warrant didn't allow them to permanently seize the property which is still someone's home. Maybe they screwed up. They probably didn't anticipate that the landlord would let hundreds of reporters in. Maybe they couldn't seize the shredded documents because they could have related to the mother who was not on the search warrant.

Obama is not controlling everything. He just passes on what they have told him so far and he wants to tone it down. The FBI figure things out slowly (in terms of definite proof) and they don't announce everything they have found out right away.

Well the baby is real. And people probably saw Malik pregnant (doctors at least). Witnesses say that the Marquez marriage seems fake though. Maybe he was trying to help the other Russian sister stay in this country.

These people don't seem any better armed than other mass shooters. They had years to accumulate a few guns, a lot of ammunition, and some unimpressive homemade bombs.
