More than likely these were drug dealers. Terrorists are not that stupid. But who wants to bet there is a FISA court warrant out on those numbers?
Terrorists that want to survive perhaps - why would a suicider care? Drugs are the standard way for these guys to make money and to drug themselves before they attack.
With phones being cheaper retail in most US stores than the wholesale cost in many other countries, there are a lot of operators who buy them up, unlock them, then export them for sale in other countries, including Canada. There are a lot of stores here in Toronto that sell new, unlocked phones from the USA.
They ask you for info...and you give them false info. Period.
It ain't rocket science...even a Muslim could do it.
The wiretap recording could be kinda short if they are using them as remote detonators for IEDs. BOOM
Why would a drug dealer buy 60 phones? Drug dealers have nice expensive phones.
