I totally agree. The idea that we do not put every immigrant/refugee through such processes is crazy. Lie detectors tend to produce more false positives than negatives so the worst that could happen is someone who isn’t a citizen could be excluded which isn’t a real problem in my book. No one has a civil right to immigrate to the United States and we should keep our screening process quick efficient and effective as possible. The only people we should want are those we are sure won’t be a cost to us whether through terrorism or tax payer burden.

For those we suspect of false positive results, we could waterboard them until we’re satisfied they are telling the truth or lying
