Now when there’s a Senate proposal to let Muslims travel but bans new immigration, that’s the moderate position.
Trump is taking the heat and helping conservatives.

In 1786, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson met with Arab diplomats from Tunisia, who were conducting terror raids and piracy against American ships (Barbary Pirates). Writing to John Jay, Thomas Jefferson described what he saw as the main issue and the reason why they were attacking Americans who had done them no harm. The following quote is from Thomas Jefferson....

I think Trump is right and not just related to immediate terrorism. No freedom loving American should want Muslim communities growing as they have in Europe spreading an ideology that is openly hostile to liberty and intent on cultural dominance. This is not like importing Italians, Jews, Polish, Dutch, German or other European immigrants of which many of us are descendants. This is importing culture that is largely incompatible with the very idea of America and not only is that the case but we are also being swamped by third world neo-socialists.
