Trump might have just jumped the shark.He just handed the other side a huge club to hit him with.
They have lots of clubs, they use them to keep you in line. Shut up and play ball and we won't hit you - much. Surely you don't think the answer to dealing with an enemy is to carefully avoid upsetting them?
What seems to be happening is that they are grabbing their clubs one by one, and watching them splinter as they swing away. They will run out of clubs eventually, or run out of strength to swing them.
If Trump continues to be successful he will have through multiple inoculations built up the required immunity necessary to survive the general election, and the inevitable politically correct attacks they will use to save Hillary. Witness Lazio invading Hillary's safe space.
Rather than slinking away under the pressure of the offended media like Lazio did, Trump would be able to say something like: 'Poor baby. There is no safe space now since we're at war with Jihadists thanks to you and President Dumbo breaking the World'.
