Former Vice President Dick Cheney condemned GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States.
In an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Cheney said the plan, which Trump announced Monday, “goes against everything we stand for and believe in.â€
“I mean, religious freedom has been a very important part of our history and where we came from,†he added.
Cheney said that there is a “serious problem†when it comes to refugees from Syria and other countries in ensuring they don’t “represent ISIS.
“You’ve got to set up a vetting process—and that’s crucial,†he said.

Many folks will tell you that Cheney is not GOPe, well, because Cheney looks tough in his photographs. He's always scowling, like those 1930's Hollywood movie gangsters.

His boy came out today with outrage that Trump would propose such a thing.
Cheney's bringing his "Gravitas" to the table to support his boy.
They are going to seize on any opportunity to knock Trump out of this race. Even if it means handing the White House to Shrillary.
Thousands of muslims are giving their money to their mosques—where does that money go? Who knows if the mosques are giving part of their collection to the jihadis. Also, consider this—many muslims in the United States and Europe are receiving welfare so some of the taxpayers money is going to the mosques...and where does it go after that?

Did the US allow Japanese to enter the country during WW2? How about Germans suspected of being Nazis, were they allowed in? Did we allow North Koreans to enter during the Korean War?

I saw Fiorina on BOR denouncing Trump for saying that he would not allow Muslims into the US if they were returning from vacation? Did he say that? I didn’t listen to his whole speech, I did hear him say that Muslims traveling to fight for ISIS or other radical organizations wouldn’t be allowed back, but did he say those returning from vacations? Or does Fiorina think fighting for ISIS is a vacation?
