Smiling broadly and posing in a bicycle helmet, this is the close friend accused of purchasing the guns that were used to mow down 14 innocent people in San Bernardino last Wednesday.
Baby-faced 'nerd' Enrique Marquez, 29, checked himself into a mental health facility in Long Beach, California on Wednesday afternoon – hours after close friend Syed Farook, 28, and his wife Tashfeen Malik, 29, opened fire on revelers at a work Christmas party.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Marquez’s Riverside home was raided by the FBI, who allegedly arrived in search of explosives.
Police have said that the two handguns used in the mass shooting were purchased by his wife and fellow fanatic Malik.
But officials said the other two firearms, which are modified 'assault-style' weapons, had been purchased by an unidentified third party, which they believe to be Marquez, according to ABC News.
The guns were purchased three years ago, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Bespectacled Marquez is not thought to be a suspect in the shooting on Wednesday which killed 14 and injured 21. Neighbors told Daily Mail Online that SWAT teams and ordinance experts, accompanied by a K-9 unit, arrived in Tomlinson Avenue at 1.30am and left two hours later.
Marquez, who has not been seen since Wednesday morning, was, like his friend Farook, described as ‘quiet’ and ‘very shy’ by Lorena Agurre who lives across the street from the home that he shares with his parents and two brothers.

Second theoretic: marquez as a "cutout" purchaser (we don't know the actual Point of Sale) in the original Fast and Furious? He perhaps having Mex cartel pals and or family/pals over Mex border.. with the altered semi-autos mentioned in the article. Protected by self-admission to mental ward (either to avoid being questioned-a classic leftist trick- or, stretching it--under guidance of fedgov DOJ managers of him?) who will "disappear".
Supports a theory that this was ALL to be an event to get massive gun seizure/control through the screen of the war on terror. A war being abetted by current Admin for their domestic statist goals. Coupled with the "good cop/bad cop" treatment from obamaumao and hitlery (she positioned as more capable (LOL) who must be handed the reins of power, dontcha know).

For the last few months there has been a barrage of government radio ads warning of the legal penalties for gun straw purchases (10 years in prison), yet I suspect this guy will go scot-free.
Am I the last American to own my own home? Seems like every article you read refers to 20 and 30 somethings living with the parents.

The bank owns my home, but I am fortunate to be able to pay them rent every month.
After them, the State of CA owns my home, and I am fortunate to be able to pay them rent every 6 months.
If that scenario is the case, it’s already backfiring enormously.
Before the attack US gun sales were estimated to already be around 5% above the previous record sales year (2013). Between the attacks and the emboldened calls for more regulation, I see sales accelerating from here on out.

I have no doubt he’s involved at some level beyond “gun running”. I don’t think a sudden attack of ‘conscience’ hit him Wednesday afternoon & caused a psychotic break, either. This is to avoid questioning & keep the police at bay.
Yep. Thought of this “two birds, one stone” way to rescue Fast and Furious’s original purpose and get buy in via the “war on terror”.

“Assault Style” weapon....is there any other “style”?
Usually there is a waiting period or isolation after
entering such facilities any where from 48 to 96 hours.
Assault-style weapons are weapons that look similar to genuine assault-rifles but lack the performance of an assault-rifle.
