I asked my professor how taxing companies would reduce carbon emissions. He said, because of higher taxes, companies would use less carbon so they wonât have to pay. Seriously. I said, wouldnât it be cheaper to lower the taxes so companies can devise cleaner means to produce energy? He couldnât grasp that concept.

I worked in the Library and one of our Liberians was a Total and Dedicated Greeny, 100% no doubt about it.
Well, of the many classes and seminars they put on. Some were pushing the Idea of Clean Coal and how America needed to switch to Natural Gas.
We put Books out on Display for the library on that subject and everything.

We spent years getting a clean coal plant approved here in Michigan only for the state to declare it unneeded and turn around and approve a wind farm.
