I have been reading and listening to Robert Spencer for at least 10-12 years and I can assure you. “Late to the fight”
is not the phrase to describe him.
You misjudge Robert Spencer. Along with Pamela Geller, he is one of the original speakers/writers to warn us of the contemporary threat from Islam. He was perhaps one of the earliest proponents of vigilance against resurgent Islam. His web site is jihadwatch.org.
