I think the claim that it is an illegitimate flag is a little over the top. I have seen American flags with gold fringes in churches and schools since the 1950s. In fact, I can't recall seeing one without the gold fringe in any protestant church in my lifetime.
We can’t expect to only elect wealthy men assuming they will not betray us. Trump has good intentions I believe, but personally it’s a trap if we are going to only expect self-financed elections to represent us.
Self financed vs big powerful donors who want favors. Trump will take small donations from the people.. just not the big ones who want something in return.

Just had an idle thought while scrolling through comments about the latest oration: Anybody seen any figures regarding The 0’s Approval Rating lately....or like anytime in the past six months?
If I’m allowed to presume that any bad news about this current Clown Posse is either BS’d beyond any hope of recognition, pathologically lied away or, lacking any effect by tactics previously mentioned, simply ignored, I’d have to guess that the whole administration must have AR’s that are in single digits, if not negative.
And The 0? I smell the Mother of All Temper Tantrums when he saw his Approval going down the crapper. Maybe that’s why he’s seemed to be going around with a handful of prickly pear in his boxers for most of the last year.
