Brucellosis definitely causes mental illness. The famous vet, James Herriott had this trouble as did Florence Nightingale. I forget how Nightingale contacted it; Herriott, of course, from livestock.

Good News: Just an observation...but when you observe Islamic men over the age of forty...they all have some form of health issue. This comes from the repeated (yearly) episode of Ramadan...when they go for twelve-plus hours a day without liquid replenishment or food. I think any lab team ever did a study on the kidney issues....more than half of all Islamic guys have serious problems.

Never heard of cabrito? It’s supposed to be roasted goat kids but it’s generally just bbq goat of any age. The South and Southwest have it all the time and they have it at bbq cook offs. It’s popular in Mexico. Frankly, it’s not that great. Sort of greasy but dry at the same time and quite strong flavor-wise. To each his own.

If we shoot a wild turkey hen for Thanksgiving, it usually has eggs inside which are great in the giblet gravy. I fail to see the difference between the eggs and the unborn goat except in gestation length in relation to production. Allowing the goat to be born would increase the goat herd.
