It would sure be nice if they would TELL THE TRUTH here, rather than make the claim that the president cannot act by simply deeming it to be law, at least for this president.
No the TRUTH is that the DEMOCRATS in the House and Senate (who are not in safe districts) are SCARED TO DEATH about being forced to vote on a bill that would overturn whatever the President tries. I think it takes about two thirds of the Democrats to sustain a veto, so they’d be forced with supporting an illegal gun grab, or trying to save their own skins. They’d rather not have to deal with it.
I don’t think it will even come to a bill to overturn an EO. If the Amnesty attempt showed anything, it is that the courts are getting rather eager to block Obama, and an injunction would be in place the very next day.
