Handy to have but don't work so well on a slashed throat.
Sad that all that those sheep could do was stand around and be terrified.

Somebody was advocating that recently (possibly after the Paris attacks); they felt it was as necessary as a defibrillator, given the frequency of mass shootings. I have a couple I picked up cheap in the new individual first aid kits at a local flea market (one guy was selling a whole kit for $5 - couldn’t pass that up, considering the tourniquet alone is $20+ online). It fits easily enough in my work bag (basically a book bag) with my CPR mask.
